October 29, 2018 — NEW YORK – Legal news organization Law360, a LexisNexis® company, today announced the launch of Access to Justice Law360, a rule of law-focused coverage section free to the public. Law360 and LexisNexis share a corporate mission to advance the rule of law around the world, and Law360 is uniquely positioned to shed light on emerging issues critical to this work.
Access to Justice Law360 will focus its coverage on vulnerable and disadvantaged populations and their ability to receive equal treatment within criminal and civil justice systems. It will be available as a weekly newsletter as well as through the Law360 website. Access to Justice Law360 will cover subjects with a strong public interest, including trends affecting the justice gap and the efforts of legal aid organizations, pro bono programs and other difference makers to help citizens with the fewest resources gain access to the courts. It will also feature guest columns from outside experts in this area of the law.
“A trusted news source for more than 15 years, Law360 delivers the latest events, trends, litigation and policy developments to readers across the globe,” said Scott Roberts, general manager, Law360. “We are proud to announce our latest venture Access to Justice Law360, which reflects our longstanding commitment to advancing the rule of law and giving back. Today’s news is increasingly dominated by social justice and civil rights issues, and it is our hope this newsletter will drive more awareness to how the rule of law, or lack thereof, impacts communities.”
